We will notify you as soon as we receive entry or declaration updates. Trainers can enter races up to 48 hours before a Flat race and 24 hours before a National Hunt race. This decision-making process is known as declaration.
You will receive written updates at least once a week, with occasional video updates. Written updates may become more frequent when your horse is entered or declared for races.

The Syndicate

No, share purchases cannot be changed to a different horse after purchase.
All My Future Champion horses are covered by mortality insurance, including a theft extension. In the event of the horse's death or theft during the syndicate term, a claim can be made, and the funds received will be distributed among the syndicate owners based on the number of shares held.
Renewal prices are generally lower than the initial purchase price since owners have already paid their share of the horse's capital. Renewal prices include ongoing training, management fees, insurance, VAT, and contributions to the My Future Champion Horse Retirement Fund.
Due to the unpredictability of racehorses, no refunds can be provided if a horse doesn't make it to the racecourse.
Racehorse welfare is a top priority. Retired horses from My Future Champion are provided with loving homes and care. More information is available on our Welfare page.
My Future Champion horses have a set syndicate term, usually around 12 months. Owners receive a report near the end of the term with a recommendation on whether to renew for another term. Renewal prices typically only cover ongoing fees, making them cheaper than the initial share purchase. Owners have the choice to renew or not. If not renewed, relinquished shares are released for sale, and owners receive their share capital value if those shares are sold elsewhere.
