My Future Champion  managed to secure this very exciting bay colt from the very well-renowned stallion Territories.
He needs no introduction and was hugely successful in his racing career before being retired to stud,
his offspring have had massive success, including Regional, whom Ed Bethell trains and has won a Group 1 along with having worldwide success.
This Colt's dam won on her first start, and her line has winning success all the way through, including group form.
Edward Bethell purchased this strong colt not only from his pedigree but also from the way he stands up to the way he walks.
He has a very open, relaxed walk which also shows in his attitude towards life.

THE PLAN

"Counting Cards" raced 3 times as a 2 year old achieving a handicap mark of 76. Ed has been very impressed by how much he has matured over the winter and he has really started to strengthen up!

Counting Cards is a strikingly horse, boasting a significant size and presence. We are incredibly excited about his potential and look forward to his future performances. We will be looking to take advantage of his mark of 76 and hopefully look forward to some big days out with him at the big meetings over 2025.

• Purchase Cost: Counting Cards was acquired for £52,000, including all sales fees. This purchase price breaks down to £20.80 per share when distributed across the 2,500 shares.
